Costs vary depending on individual needs. If you fly regularly and study at home, the costs will be less. It is recommended to fly two to three times per week. The FAA requires you to have 40 hours of flight instruction and solo flight time at a minimum. The average number of hours at which students earn their licenses is between 60 and 70.
